We don’t typically post about listings on our blogs but there are so many cool new listings in Edina and we have so many clients looking for homes there that we thought we’d make an exception this week.

The best part about this new crop of listings is that there is something for everyone. Whether you are shopping for a luxury home in Edina or an entry-level home, it’s on the market, right now.

Affordable Condo in Edina

Life on the top floor is what this home affords. Located in a small community of only 21 units, this condo is a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom home with 2,105 square feet of living space. It’s located on the top floor, which provides maximum privacy. The den has a fireplace and it adjoins the sunroom.

Built in 1975, this Whitehall Condominiums home is priced at $385,000.

Affordable Single-Family Home in Edina

Yes, there is such a thing as an affordable single-family home in Edina, and here is the proof. This is a 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom home on a quarter of an acre of land. With 1,850 square feet of living space, this one-story rambler offers the amazing Edina lifestyle at a price you seldom find here.

The bathrooms have been updated and the home features hardwood floors, newish windows, fresh paint and two fireplaces. All it lacks is YOU. This home is offered at $329,900.

Morningside Rebuild

Just below the “luxury price range” in Edina is an amazing home in Morningside. It features 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, a gourmet kitchen that you must see to believe at this price, two family rooms and wood floors.

Outdoors, the screened porch leads to a level yard and a huge, brand-new garage.

Believe it or not, this Edina home is listed at $739,000.

New Luxury Listings in Edina

Shame on the listing agent for the skimpy description of our first luxury home in Edina. The home is priced at $2,595,000, which means that this agent’s broker will make a minimum of $77,850 in commission. If the broker also provides the buyer, the commission will double.

Despite this, the listing agent provided only a 38-word description of the property and 11 of those words described the neighborhood. What a pity.

This home has been remodeled (2001). You’ll find a third-floor library and office with walnut built-ins. The home has five bedrooms and seven bathrooms in 7,141 square feet of living space.

This is a gorgeous brick-front Georgian. We are happy to call the listing agent to find out what he has left out of the listing should you be interested in this home. Contact us to learn more.

Homeowners, I don’t care if you own an entry level home or a luxury home, it’s so important to ask your agent for a copy of the the MLS listing. If it’s not compelling – if it skimps on the description or there are few or blurry photos – you have the right to demand that it be changed. You have the right to demand that your agent market your home to its fullest potential.
