Dream Homes on the Fall 2015 Parade of Homes Tour

The Builders Association of the Twin Cities (BATC) is gearing up for their Fall 2015 Parade of Homes Tour, happening September 12 to October 4. This season’s tour promises to be amazing, with 390 new homes to view.

You’ll find four Dream Homes on the tour this time around and two of them are in Edina. Let’s look at a quick preview of what you can expect from these amazing luxury homes.

Parkwood Knolls, Edina

Carl M. Hansen Companies calls the floor plan design of this home “clever,” for its attention to detail. This is a European Mediterranean home complete with an inner courtyard. Inside, you’ll find 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms in 5,000 square feet of living space.

It features a classic library, formal dining room and a chef’s kitchen with custom cabinetry and Sub Zero and Wolf appliances. Families will love the screened porch with wood-burning fireplace and a pizza oven. Located in West Ridge Farm in Parkwood Knolls, this home is number 33 on the tour and it’s offered at $2,199,000.

Fox Meadow, Edina

Billed as an entertainer’s delight, this 4-bedroom, 5-bathroom home has 4,652 square feet of living space. When you drive up you’ll notice that the home’s exterior consists of all natural materials, such as cedar shake siding and stone.

Inside is the gourmet kitchen, with a large pantry and top-of-the-line appliances from Wolf and Sub-Zero. The vaulted great room features wood beams and an amazing gas fireplace, surrounded floor-to-ceiling with stone. This home also boasts of a large, screened porch.

Extras include a bar, workout room, family room and a game area. This home is number 34 on the tour and it’s offered at $1,950,000.

The other two Dream Homes, numbers 87 and 88, are both located in Wayzata and listed at The $1,895,000 and $3,750,000, respectively.
