Two Fun Parks Found in Edina, MN

Edinborough Park is an action packed indoor public park. You will find more than just beautiful plants and flowers here, this indoor park contains a junior-Olympic sized pool, running track, fitness area, a ginormous playground and multi-purpose area.

This one-acre park has something for all ages, and is beautifully landscaped with easy walking pathways. No matter what the weather is like outside, Edinborough Park will be a comfortable 70 degrees for you to enjoy. You can also check out the Greek-style amphitheater, which accommodates 250 people. Here you will experience a wealth of free art performances that include music, dance, theater and visual arts.

Fun filled areas within the park include:

  • Adventure Peak – This structure includes a climbing area, crawling areas, and a slippery slide. You can adventure up the 30-foot tall oak tree, and come back down by sliding on one of the four tube slides that are offered. However, you could also take the triple wave slide to reach the bottom.  You can explore the canyon, climb the wall and check out the 30 foot lookout which gives a grand view of the park. Socks must be worn.
  • Toddler Area – The toddler area is designed for those that are 4 years and under. There are many climbing, crawling, sliding and bounce house opportunities. The area is completely padded, contains a net, and will keep your little ones busy for hours. There are over 45 different activities for them to engage in. Socks must be worn.
  • Great Hall – This is a large area that contains a variety of activities. Even the busiest kids will be entertained here. They can engage in the moonwalk. Ride a scooter or play with balls or hula-hoops. All equipment is provided by the park for young ones to enjoy.

There are so many fun activities to get involved in at Edinborough Park. It is a park plus an adventure area for your children to explore. Plus, you can engage in many fun events that are filled with culture.
