Two Top Attractions for Kids at the Mall of America

The Mall of America is one of the most popular attractions in the country. It’s located in Bloomington, Minnesota, one of the Twin Cities’ suburbs. It opened in 1992 and today sees 40 million visitors per year. There are over 520 stores making it the leader in retail, entertainment and attractions. The mall sees celebrities and features over 400 events annually.

On the first floor of the mall you’ll find the top two attractions for kids in the mall including Nickelodeon Universe and LEGO. While your kids enjoy these top attractions, you can head to Level Two for shopping and dining. Here is a look at these favorite attractions.

Nickelodeon Universe

Nickelodeon Universe is full of excitement for the little ones. You can enjoy attractions like the Nickelodeon Store featuring the largest selection of merchandise in the nation, eateries, the store Toys featuring Nickelodeon characters and rides like rollercoasters and the carousel.

You’ll love Nickelodeon favorites like the ride “Blue’s Skidoo” featuring Blue’s Clues, Danny Phantom Ghost Zone, Rugrat Reptarmobiles and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Shell Shock. You’ll see characters visiting like Dora, SpongeBob and Pablo, Uniqua and Tyrone that you can get photos taken with.

Also check out events like the Adventure Universe Club where kids can try the scavenger hunt to see Nickelodeon Universe in a unique way. To eat, check out Slurp and Snack, Hard Rock Café, Food Carts, Sweet Treats and Caribou Coffee. Nickelodeon Universe is open all week for kids to enjoy.

LEGO

The LEGO attraction is a top hot and has been completed remodeled to now feature play tables, a LEGO robot and a giant pick-a-Brick wall. It’s open all week for the kids to enjoy. The LEGO robot towers over 34 feet tall and there are seven other larger-than-life models to check out.

Kids will love the play tables to inspire their creativity and the giant pick-a-Brick wall. The wall has over 180 types of LEGO elements to choose from.

The LEGO attraction and Nickelodeon Universe are the top kid attractions at the Mall of America.
