The 49th Annual Edina Art Fair is returning this summer and it’s going to an amazing weekend. It’s the First Official Art Fair of the Year and ranked as the top art fair in the state. It’s even called one of the top art fairs in the nation featuring the best 300 fine artists from the state, from the country and even from Canada.
You can check it out for no charge and enjoy a free shuttle taking you from exhibit to exhibit. Here is what you can expect for this year’s Edina Art Fair.
When is the art fair?
It takes place from Friday, June 5th until Sunday, June 7th. Friday and Saturday hours are from 10am-7pm and Sunday hours are from 10am-5pm. It will take place rain or shine.
How much is admission?
The event has free admission! Enjoy the free shuttle during your weekend as well in front of the US Bank on West 50th. There will be a free shuttle running daily from Southdale Shopping Center to the fair 60 minutes prior to opening and then running on a loop every 60 minutes until the fair closes.
Parking is free in the three parking ramps located off 40th Street and one at West 51st Street. Park your bike at the corral located in the US Bank parking off West 50th Street. Bring cash for any food and beverage purchases as well as the art auction and entertainment.
What to expect
You’ll get to experience the top 300 artists of the finest artists in Minnesota showing off pieces of art including woodwork, ceramics, fiber, sculpture drawings, paintings, photography and much more. You can check out the many galleries on display, enjoy live entertainment, a Kids Zone and enjoy food and beverage all weekend long. The art auction is taking place for your chance to bid on some of the artwork which benefits a great cause every year.
