What type of Amusement Parks are Found Near Brainerd, MN?

Brainerd, MN features some excellent nearby amusement parks. It’s a great way to spend a day away and features something all ages can enjoy. Being a home of many great family activities, the Brainerd Lakes amusement parks are a great bonus to families living here.

The Paul Bunyan Land and This Old Farm Pioneer Village are great places to take the kids. Try Pirates Cove if you want to ride go karts and play mini golf. There are also excellent water parks and RV parks for camping fans. Here is a look at the places to go in the area.

Wildwedge Golf & Maze – 32620 Paul Bunyan Trail Drive, Pequot Lakes

Check out the Wildwedge Golf & Maze in Pequot Lakes for a day of fun. It’s only a short drive north of Brainerd and features something the whole family will enjoy. Along with being home to the lakes area’s premier short game course, there is mini golf and an Amazing Mystery Maze.

The golf course offers 9 holes, scenic views of the great northwoods and a driving range. The Mini Golf is one of the area’s most challenging, fun and scenic games in greater Minnesota. The Wildwedge, the Amazing Mystery Maze, is 10,000 square feet of pathways, dead-ends and corners that you’ll have fun getting lost in.

Safari North Wildlife Park – 8493 State Highway 371, Brainerd

You can’t beat seeing wildlife from five continents in one stop. Just five miles south of Brainerd is the Safari North Wildlife Park off of highway 371. It’s right by Brainerd Baxter hotels and water parks as well. Check out the colorful Parakeets or feed the giraffes. Camel and pony rides take place here while the little ones will love the petting zoo full of goats, sheep and mini ponies.
