The Fieldhouse in Plymouth, Minnesota provides plenty of things to do for everyoneg. Whether you want to join a sports league or just enjoy walking or jogging, you can do it at the Fieldhouse. Here's what you will find at the Plymouth Fieldhouse.
A Domed Fieldhouse
From November to early-April, the Fieldhouse uses an inflatable dome to ensure the residents of the area get to enjoy indoor soccer, football, rugby, baseball, lacrosse and more. The artificial grass field provides a truer bounce compared to other type of artificial turf, making it perfect for sports.
Walkers and runners can enjoy the indoor area free of charge during the winter months, as well. The temperature inside ranges from about 30 to 55 degrees, depending on the outside temperature. There is a schedule for walking and jogging inside the dome.
Open Play Times
The Fieldhouse also offers open play times for Toddler/Youth and Teens. The Toddler/Youth time targets ages 12 and under with programs for 3 to 5 year old children. It runs from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. daily.
Open play is $4 per resident child and $5 per non-resident child.
The Fieldhouse is also available to rent. It can be used for multiple types of events from sports to non-sporting events. You can rent the full field or half the field for your event.
During the summer months, the Fieldhouse provides open air fields for athletic events, along with sports leagues for all ages.
The Fieldhouse is found at 14800 34th Avenue in Plymouth. It's a part of the Plymouth Creek Center and found between Highway 55 and Rockford Road. The complex also includes the Plymouth Ice Center, the Hilde Performance Center and Plymouth City Hall.
