Plymouth Playhouse is a fun place to go when you’re looking for a great show. It’s the Midwest’s premiere destination for musical comedy and they’ve been celebrating over 40 years of music and laughs.
Check out original pieces at the theatre located at 2705 Annapolis Lane North in Plymouth. Just 20 minutes west of downtown Minneapolis, it’s easily accessible by taking I-494 and Highway 55 in Plymouth. You’ll love their intimate 211 seat theatre, comfortably and roomy for every guest. What to expect
The theatre is intimate for optimal viewing, yet roomy and spacious for generous leg room and comfortable seating. Performers use individual mics so that you can easily hear them and they’ll also provide assisted listening devises at the concession stand for no charge. Each seat is only 25 feet back from the stage. Get your tickets early because they usually sell out and it’s the only way to choose your seating location.
The box office is located inside the Best Western lobby’s front door. Order tickets through the Box office or online. Tickets cost $28 for regular admission on Wednesdays and Thursday 1pm performances. Evening performances on Thursdays and Fridays cost $35 while Saturday night performances cost $39. Afternoon performances on weekends cost $37. Kids ages 6-17 get half price admission while seniors get $3 off. Kids under 6 years old are not permitted.
Check out the current show “Late Nite Catechism” by Vicki Quade and Maripat Donovan. It’s taking place until June 14th and is a hilarious show. It’s the “best one-sister act- bar nun!” featuring stand-up in an interactive comedy. The Church Basement Ladies will be going on June 18th until November 15th a hilarious musical that you won’t want to miss.
